The submarine ride
It is of course mandatory that all pleasure submarines must be painted yellow and in this case the Beetles song was played as we were leaving the boat. (In naval parlance all submarines, however big are boats.)

A proper submarine
The commander of a proper submarine would be horrified at the thought of portholes and knows full well that the boat is controlled from amidships. This is HMS Oceleot, built in Chatham in 1960 and now back in Chatham on permanent display.
