The submarine ride
It is of course mandatory that all pleasure submarines must be painted yellow and in this case the Beetles song was played as we were leaving the boat. (In naval parlance all submarines, however big are boats.)
Looking towards the stern
Closer to the bow, we see that the "driver" has a forward facing porthole, cf. a proper submarine …
A proper submarine
The commander of a proper submarine would be horrified at the thought of portholes and knows full well that the boat is controlled from amidships. This is
HMS Oceleot, built in Chatham in 1960 and now back in Chatham on permanent display.

Rain!
Timanfaya
The guide book had warned us to arrive early to visit the mountain. We took its advice and were able to drive straight in. As we came away at 12:00, this is the queue!
Camel ride
The camel is the ship of the desert and on this ship, because of the uneven load, a bag of ballast has been added beside the girl on the left.
